💡 These designations were not made under the recently expanded authority of the Treasury to impose "secondary sanction" against foreign financial institutions.

  • The EU Council in a rather administrative decision, extended the validity of the framework for its Bosnia and Herzegovina sanctions regime. (Decision, press release)

  • The EU Council imposed asset-freezing sanctions against one individual and one entity under its ISIL/Al-Qaeda sanctions regime. (Decision)

  • France imposed asset-freezing sanctions against one individual under its autonomous counter-terrorism sanctions regime. (Here)
