Wednesday, January 21

  • OFAC imposed blocking sanctions against one individual and seven entities under the United States' counter-terrorism sanctions program. (Here, and the Department of the Treasury's press release)

  • OFAC submits the 2025's forth quarter report pursuant to Section 906(b) of the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act of 2000, which requires the quarterly reports to Congress regarding specific licenses issued for export of agricultural

    commodities, medicine, or medical devices to state sponsors of terrorism. The report details that OFAC received 29 applications and issued 21 determinations, which resulted in the granting of 10 specific licenses and the issuance of 10 return-without-action letters between July through September 2025.
